I don’t particularly like watching football. I always wanted to be that cool girl who has a genuine interest in sports. Unfortunately, God did no bless me with the sport gene or any cool gene in general. However, I do like sports bars, boys and beer so I can handle watching a football game now and again. South Beach: Quarterdeck and French Fries… Roll Tide!
Miami: Latin American Grill, Some Yucca Fries and Some French Fries
I drove to Doral again to have lunch with my friend Josh and we went to a little place called Latin American Grill. Of course I devoured my entire plate of beans and rice and plantain chips with mojo sauce because those are two of my favorite things in the entire world. I also
love yucca fries, so we ordered those too. This little place is inexpensive so we loaded up on calories for the long winter ahead. The yucca fries were pretty darn good… We dipped them in some sauce and ate. Then we ate some more. Then we ate some plantain chips. Then we ate some more rice and beans. Big Bear has some Yummy Sweet Potato Fries

Jay and I have worked together for several months and have communicated through phone

I didn’t rate the French fries because I was so in love with the mojo sauce with plantains that I forgot to leave room for the fried tubers. As luck would have it, my friend Carlos asked me to go to Latin Café 2000 again, so I had another opportunity to try the French fries.
Just to make this clear, I also ordered the plantains with mojo sauce and beans and rice. I really love Cuban food, which is not readily available in the Midwest so thank goodness Miami
was able to introduce me to something I enjoy almost as much as French fries. My good friend even writes a blog about where to find the best Cuban food in Miami. Read the rest of this entry »
