Skinny French Fries at J Alexander's

I guess that I am the only one who didn’t know that J Alexander’s was a steakhouse. My friend Kelly and I went to J Alexander’s for lunch. After we learned that it was a steakhouse, we realized our mistake. Neither of us eats meat. Our server must have thought we were morons. Neither Kelly nor I divulged that we were vegetarians, but I am sure he figured it out. She ordered a veggie burger and I ordered an artichoke appetizer with French fries. I am sure the server was a little put off by our order, but he didn’t show it. We tipped him well.

The artichoke appetizer was delicious, but I didn’t realize how messy it gets. Word to the wise, don’t order this appetizer on a date. It looks disgusting when you eat it and your hands get dirty. Read the rest of this entry »

Ernie's BBQ in Fort Lauderdale

I was introduced to Ernie’s a few months back and I have to say that the Fort Lauderdale restaurant popular with the locals is pretty good. The one thing that Ernie’s serves that is quite possibly the most delicious thing ever is the Bimini Bread.
