According to an article in the Washington Post, French fries in Germany will be about 22 percent shorter this year. This news comes as quite a shock to me! What could be the cause of this catastrophe? The farmers of Europe are blaming the heat wave. This blunder by Mother Nature is very disturbing and I cannot believe that there is not more of a desperate outcry from our neighbors across the sea.
If anyone wants to rally together and start a fund to save the French fries let me know. I feel very sad knowing that our friends in Germany will have a French fry shortage.
