La Piaggia Beach Club is a local favorite that is located on South Pointe Drive in South Beach. I went to lunch with my friend, Jeff. He also brought along his best friend, Max, who happens to be the cutest little yellow lab in history.
Jeff and I sat in the corner of the laid back restaurant and ordered our food. I know this may come as a surprise, but I ordered French fries. Jeff and I gobbled and gorged on the fried potatoes – even though, they really weren’t anything special. I dipped them in mayonnaise and even a little ketchup. Yummy, yummy… but not good for my tummy.
After months of complaining about my awful case of Secretary’s Ass (maybe a little spare tire too!), I am finally going to
do something about it. Jeff is a motivator. He finally motivated me to join a gym. Not only does this mean I will have a thinner, trimmer rear end, but I will also get to eat my favorite food in the world without the guilt. Hooray!
The French fries were skinny, salted, hot and crispy. These are all my favorite things, so you may be asking yourself why I didn’t think they were worth a 5 Potatoes Rating. Maybe you weren’t wondering, but I will tell you just because you are reading this. They were just average French fries. They came from a frozen bag of potatoes. They did the best they could with the French fries, so they were pretty good. Some funky seasonings might have made the better. The rest of the food at La Piaggia Beach Club is really good! The French-Italian cuisine is a local favorite for good reasons!
